This roof in Manvel, Texas, is a great example of a complex job that simply can’t be rushed. Unlike other basic “up and over” roofs, this steep and two-story home had every possible challenge. We call this type of roof “cut-up,” because of all the many different angles and planes.
There were plenty of vertical and horizontal roof walls that required meticulous, detailed flashing installations, multiple intersecting planes and valleys, dormers, and other smaller penetrations such as skylights, chimneys, and wind turbine air vents.
